My online training is launched and ready for students to subscribe! For the cost of one private lesson a month, you get access to video lessons and written notes on ALL of my pitching knowledge.

Online training includes:

  • The most important concepts of pitching, including the biggest and simplest secret to speed.

  • Warm up drills page.

  • Lesson sections with various drills and ways of trying things so you can figure out what works best for you.

  • Video and written explanations on how the body works in pitching. This includes identifying specific things about yourself such as if your body is oriented left or right, which leg is your up and down leg, what this means and how to work with it.

  • Tips for accuracy and location.

  • Several video examples with voice over explanations of the best pitchers in the world and how what I teach is based on the things that they all do.

  • Movement pitches and change-up page with various types of change-ups you can try and different cues for movement pitches. In my videos and notes on this page you will learn that the way I teach movement pitches is much easier and more effective than how most people teach them. Learn how to throw dramatic breaking pitches in minutes!

  • Basic strength training guide with pictures, including at home workouts, body weight workouts, and gym workouts.

  • Stretches and band exercises with video explanations.

  • Training schedule including suggested pitch counts depending on age, and how much to train on your own in and out of season.

  • Parent's page with advice and tips.

  • College recruiting tips and advice page.

  • Mental training page for confidence and maintaining your mental health as an athlete.

  • Pitch calling tips (learn how to sequence pitches and throw to batters)

  • As an online member, you are able to communicate with me via text message, call, and video call for any answers to your questions, support, or feedback you may need.

  • Online training is limited to 100 students!

How to use online training:

This will depend on your pitcher's skill level and how much you have worked with me. Here is your online training checklist:

  1. Look at the training schedule page. Use this as a guide to schedule your training.

  2. Be sure to read and look over the mental training tips and the parent's page so that pitcher and parent are in the best possible emotional and mental state to train.

  3. Work on the concepts on the 'Most important concepts' page first. Make sure you get the hang of one skill before moving onto another. All of the videos and lessons are organized in order of importance. These are our foundational concepts that must be mastered first.

  4. Move through the pages in the order they are listed on the site. You won't need to work on every single video, I just provide lots of different options for the same thing as everyone thinks differently and different things work for different people. I advise that you try everything to see and note what works best for you. For example, the legs page has a ton of info, but you will ideally only need a few of those videos for your drills and warm ups.

  5. Master the change-up before you move on to other pitches. When we are first working on a pitch, we want to start throwing it in games in 0-2 or 1-2 counts. If we can throw a pitch successfully 70% of the time (meaning we are locating it where we want it and it is moving the way we want it to) then we have mastered the pitch. After you have mastered the change-up, you can move on to other pitches, but again, master one at a time. I advise trying drop ball, screw ball, and curve ball and seeing which one clicks first and comes easiest, and then try to master that pitch first before moving on to other pitches. Rise ball is typically the most difficult and you really need to be throwing at least in the mid 50's to have an effective rise ball.

  6. Make sure you have a journal that you use to take notes on what you're working on, what drills you like, what cues are working best for you, how your games went, what you learned from your games/practice sessions, etc. Journaling is incredibly powerful.

  7. You must keep me updated!! Ask questions, send me video, keep me updated on progress. I will check in with you once a month if I am not already hearing from you at least 1-2 times a month. If it is becoming apparent that you are not working, you will be dropped from online training. I will give at least two warnings before this happens.
